final exhibition

The workshop concluded with the final exhibition in the Black Box of the University Center of Art in San Luis Potosí. From the 29th of November until the 6th of December 2013 it is open to the public.

The students of the Contemporary Tradition workshop produced after one month of work two tables and two projections including a bench which all feature handcrafted and anthropological ideas regarding the city San Luis Potosí. For more details please check the final products.

Cinemano-Lab [workshop for teens]

Hillsideout's new workshop is called "Cinemano-Lab". It is all about wood construction and digital animation of self-created handmade furniture pieces.
This time they are a bit smaller in size and for younger generations - for teens age 12 and up.
All objects become characters for short stop-motion videos. Again, ancient handcraft and digital technology are combined in an interdisciplinary way.
