About 20 young Industrial Design students are producing furnishing which will connect the history of the city and personal anthropological thoughts of each participant.
During the first week the students got to know more about the idea of the workshop and antique furniture styles during the centuries of the different Kings Louis of France. The students were asked about their ideas regarding places in and around the city of San Luis Potosí and to design a table leg which should be a fusion of the various styles of the kings, from King Louis XIII until XVI of France. With the construction of a table leg, the wood workshop started which gives a better idea of the material and the tools needed. The aim is to achieve a good manuality and the sense of unique and handmade.
